COWS AND CLOVER FIELDS AT KURVILANSAARI

Loue, Tervola

In the peace of Kurvila, summer days are spent rattling the cows, herding the barn from the pasture and caring for the adorable calves. There is still plenty of time to explore the village trails and enjoy Lapland's bright summer in the traditional courtyard. A unique opportunity to become a cowherd in Lapland!

WHAT & WHERE?

The magnificent Kurvila farm, cared for with a big heart, is located in the village of Loue on Kurvilansaari, the southern end of Loue Island. The farm is a part of the cultural landscape, which is dominated by the Kemijoki River, fields, pastures and traditional buildings. On the farm there is an art exhibition and a summer café in the last three weeks of July. Good transport links. 1.1 km from the bus stop, 10 km from the train station.
